Rite Aid to close Liverpool distribution center; move operations to Maryland

Syracuse, N.Y. — Rite Aid drug store said in a letter to employees Monday it is closing its distribution center in Liverpool and moving those operations to Maryland.
The drug chain said it had analyzed how it could operate its distribution network more efficiently.
